Dip Ten Middle Park
Final daffodil dip day and have finally reached my target of 10 swims.
Saturday 23rd Aug
Dip Nine Middle Park
Dollfins and friends with daffodils Middle Park beach. Out to the yellow pole and back again.
Friday 22nd Aug
Dip Eight - Middle Park
Great swim with some of the Dollfin team out to the yellow pole. Extended work lunch break for Daffodil Day.
Monday 18th Aug
Dip Seven Williamstown Beach
Freezing morning swim with high wind chill factor. Not a pleasant swim. Swam with the Silver Salties including Kim and Irini and some extra friends and family - Julie, David, Alex and Tony. Julie had an unfortunate body freeze as I forgot to prep her about slow entry. Her last swim was on Magnetic Island so she just dived straight in. It took us about an hour to warm her up. Congratulations to David for his first ever cold water swim.
Monday 18th Aug
Dip Six - Middle Park
Joined Kim and Rosie for sunny late morning dip at Middle Park. My friend Rosie impressed us with her swimming with no cap or goggles. Iron woman. Post swim coffee at the Sandbar enjoying the sun and the seagulls. Beautiful day.

Dip Four - Chewton res
Love this swimming spot in Chewton not far from Castlemaine. A gorgeous bush setting but the water is icy cold this time of year. More of a plunge than a swim.

Dip Three - Williamstown
Swam out to yellow pole and back 400m - enough at 9.5 degrees without wetsuit. Mad swimming buddy Kim swam 650m. She has a warmer post swim coat than me though.

Sunny dip at the Sandbar, Middle Park with the Breakwaters and before the jet-ski invasion.
