Growing hope for 40 years

This year we are celebrating 40 years of growing hope for people affected by cancer.

When Daffodil Day first took roots in 1986, the 5-years cancer survival was approximately 46%. Today, thanks to the support of the community raising funds for cancer research – survival is now 72%.

For 40 years, Daffodil Day has helped grow hope in the community as we’ve come together to improve outcomes for people with cancer. We’ve come a long way in that time and we hope the next 40 years of cancer research will see everyone diagnosed with cancer surviving their diagnosis with a treatment plan that’s just right for them. It’s absolutely possible, and we’re here to help make it happen.
