7 of 10 cold plunges - 23 August 2026
Today was my coldest plunge yet. I took a dip into a freshwater billabong that felt like it was around 5Β°C. It was absolutely freezing β the kind of cold that takes your breath away. Bec joined me and was incredible, diving in head first! π Bec and I are dedicating this plunge to the friends and family in our lives who have been impacted by breast cancer. π Hereβs to raising awareness, supporting research, and hopefully helping make a difference for those affected by this disease.

Today is Daffodil Day π Iβve reached halfway through my committed cold plunges β and this one was especially meaningful, with Adrian supporting me from the sidelines. Iβm raising funds for cancer research because Iβve been deeply moved by Adrian β his vulnerability, bravery, kindness, honesty and wisdom. Halfway there, with a very full heart. π For Adrian, and for everyone touched by cancer. Please donate to this important cause.

The 1st of 10 cold plunges on the 1st August 2026
Swam 1km with some of the Harold Holt crew. Despite the rain overnight there was reasonable visibility several metres. The sea was calm when we entered the water, temperature 15 degrees, colours muted because of the cloud cover. "Everyday may not be good but there's something good in every day" - Alice Morse Earle
