Sunday 30th Aug

My 15th cold water plunge for cancer research

While camping at Lake Cressbrook Qld, there was no hot water in the ladies showers so I turned it into my15th dip. 7 degrees at 6.30am in the ammenities block. No photo because I was naked but here's a picture from camp for interest

Sunny Daffodil Saturday

Saturday 22nd for my 14th Dip. Here are the lovely Daffidil Darlings from our Harold Holt team. Our 2 handsome male team members Garry Comans and Dave Gosden were missed today but were there in spirit. Over $6,500 raised so far by our team. So proud of our club xx

Lucky 13th today!

6 swimmers and Dippers from the Harold Holt Swim Club made a splash today for the official Daffodil Day. Well over $4,500 raised by our team so far! Woo hoo 🌼🌼🌼

Late evening Dip

Tonight my 9th Dip was at dusk at Horderns Beach. My swims have so far been 600m up to 1.2kms but tonight getting close to dark was a 2 minute Daffodil Dip staying close to shore. I'll do better tomorrow, I promise

Daffodil Day Dip number 8

Today was my 8th Daffodil Day Dip at Little Cheviot with other team members Georgia, Suellen, Terri and Garry. Sunny but 14 degrees in the water and a cold breeze when we got out. A warm shower on the beach then we were off for a coffee

Dip number 6

Gale forced winds couldn't stop us from swimming today. Three brave souls toughed it out through large choppy waves and blustering winds before a hot shower on the beach followed by a hot cuppa

A beautiful sunny day and 15 degree water for my 5th swim

Dip number 4

Scuba Dip today to make number 4 and I wore my cap I received yesterday to ward off sharks. We saw a Weedy Sea Dragon, octopus, seahorse, stingrays and a pineapple fish. The temperature ranged from 15 to 20 degrees. Photo courtesy of Lynne at urchin.creations
