Why I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria
Cancer touches everyone in some way. My family is no different.
It is far-reaching, unfair and indiscriminate. And while we may not be able to control who it affects, we can help change what happens next.
Every dollar raised helps Cancer Council Victoria prevent cancer, improve our understanding of it, support people and families affected by it, and fund research that brings us closer to a future where cancer no longer takes so many lives.
That is why I’m fundraising this Daffodil Day. Because helping prevent cancer, save lives and create a better future for the people we love is something worth getting behind.
I will be jumping in an extra cold ice bath on August 20th at an event we are holding across Spark Foundry. I’ll be joined by 15 brave friends and colleagues in the ice. Your donations will make it easier to jump in and of course will go to a cause that supports so many Australians.
