Why I'm fundraising for Daffodil Day
I am fundraising for Cancer Council to give back to an organisation that supported me and my loved ones during our most difficult times. Cancer Council has been a source of comfort and hope for me, providing peer support and practical financial assistance when I needed it most. After receiving the heartbreaking news of a loved one's diagnosis, I was overwhelmed with fear and confusion, but the resources from Cancer Council helped me navigate through difficult conversations. My goal is to raise $1,000 to contribute to vital cancer research. Every dollar brings us closer to better treatments and, someday, a cure. I want to help ensure that everyone facing cancer can access the compassionate support and resources that made a difference for us. To support this cause, I have created a new watercolour floral print inspired by the vibrant colors of daffodils. I will donate 50% of the proceeds from all Daffodil Cards and Prints sold during August directly to this fundraiser. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity in helping me reach this goal and in supporting the vital work of Cancer Council.
