Why I'm fundraising for Daffodil Day
I'm raising funds in support of the almost 1 in 2 Aussies diagnosed with cancer by age 85. Every dollar is funding more vital cancer research, and giving hope to all of us affected by cancer.
MISU x Daffofil Day
Cancer is a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts at MISU and has personally touched the lives of people we love. As a small business built around baking, comfort and bringing people together, we wanted to use what we do best to support a cause that means so much to us and our wider community.
Almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. Thanks to advances in research, prevention, early detection and treatment, Australia’s five-year cancer survival rate has grown from approximately 46% in 1986 to 72% today. Every donation to Daffodil Day helps Cancer Council fund life-saving research and continue supporting Australians affected by cancer.
On Saturday, 29 August 2026, MISU will be holding a community charity bake sale, with funds raised supporting both Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day and Jeans for Genes. We would love for you to visit, enjoy something sweet and help us turn our love of baking into something that can make a real difference.
Every donation, purchase and share means so much to us. Follow our bake sale journey and event updates at @misueatery.
