Raising Cancer Research

Daffodil Day QLD 2026

Motivation image
Why I'm fundraising for Daffodil Day

I'm raising funds in support of the almost 1 in 2 Aussies diagnosed with cancer by age 85. Every dollar is funding more vital cancer research, and giving hope to all of us affected by cancer. Although I witnessed our mother passing away from breast cancer, we have been told since that much work is being done to be able to overcome the disease. In particular, the recent introduction of MRI-guided cryoablation, a revolutionary procedure that destroys tumors by freezing them with pinpoint precision, gives much needed hope to Australians. I want to continue this sense of hope, after also loosing my best friend Jennifer Anne 'Jenny' Comrie to Fibroid Cancer in 2016.

Please help me in my fundriasing efforts by donating and providing hope for a cancer free future, not only for those impacted by cancer, but for all Australians.

The fund I raise will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.

Your support means so much to me!
