Daffodil Day VIC 2026

Motivation image
Flowers with Meaning

For 40 years, the daffodil has represented hope for Australians affected by cancer.

It is a small flower with a powerful message: brighter days can grow from even the most difficult seasons.

As a florist, I have always believed in the power of flowers to express what words sometimes cannot. This pop-up is our way of filling Gloucester Avenue with colour, kindness and hope while supporting the work of Cancer Council.

Bunty And Fuzz Florist + Berwick School Of Florist

Thursday’s Daffodil Day pavement pop-up brought a beautiful splash of yellow to Gloucester Avenue. Thirteen bunches found new homes through your purchases, with several more gifted within our community. The bunch sales contributed $65 to our fundraiser, and together with an additional $5 cash donation and a further $50 from Bunty & Fuzz, we have raised $120 for Cancer Council. Thank you to everyone who purchased a bunch, donated or helped spread a little Daffodil Day sunshine.
