Why I'm fundraising for Daffodil Day

Earlier this year, I joined the many members of our community who have heard the words, "you have cancer." It is a diagnosis that changes your perspective, but it also shows you the extraordinary compassion, resilience and strength that exists in our community.

Alongside my colleagues at City of Vincent, we want to honour everyone who has faced a cancer diagnosis, remember those we have lost, and stand alongside the families, carers and loved ones walking this journey every day.

Almost one in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. Every dollar raised helps fund vital cancer research, bringing hope for better treatments, better outcomes and, one day, a future where fewer people have to hear those life-changing words.
