Why I'm fundraising for Daffodil Day
I'm raising funds in support of the almost 1 in 2 Aussies diagnosed with cancer by age 85. Every dollar is funding more vital cancer research, and giving hope to all of us affected by cancer.
This Daffodil Day, I’m honouring my dad, Thomas, who passed away from cancer almost four months ago. Dad loved nature and gardens, so it feels right to celebrate his memory with something that symbolises hope and new beginnings.Please help me in my fundraising efforts by donating and providing hope for a cancer‑free future for all Australians. The funds raised will help power world‑class cancer research to save lives.Dad would be my biggest supporter, and I’m hoping that making even a small impact in his memory can help shape me as a person — helping others as I find my way forward.I’m grateful for our community and the help we received during hard times.
